Announcing the 1st Annual New York International Cider Competition
Adam Levy, Founder of the International Beverage Competitions is proud to announce the creation of the New York International Cider Competition (NYICC). This competition has grown out of the New York International Beer Competition, now going into its 6th year. The cider industry has seen an impressive growth of the cider market as well as its number of producers, and we felt it was time to spin off and create a separate competition especially for ciders.
We look forward to judging the ciders using the official categories of the United States Association of Cider Makers (USACM) and being one of the only competitions in the world to do so. The New York International Cider Competition will follow the same format as all of the competitions that form the International Beverage Competitions Group; the ciders will be judged by their sanctioned categories as well as by price and will be tasted by top trade buyers.
The NYICC will be held on Sunday February 10th in the heart of Manhattan at the 3 West Club, located across from the famous Rockefeller Center.
